Welcome to Autobonics. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Autobonics website, BonicBot autonomous service robots, BonicOS software, and the BonicAI cloud fleet management platform (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our Site, purchasing our hardware, or utilizing our software services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, school, or corporation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Platform & Software Licensing

Subject to compliance with these Terms and any separate hardware purchase agreement, Autobonics grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use:

  • BonicOS: The embedded operating software running on BonicBot hardware, solely for intended service, educational, or industrial operations.
  • BonicAI Cloud & Studio Modules: The cloud fleet dashboard, BonicAI Training Studio, Marketing Studio, and Patrolling Studio to schedule, monitor, and deploy robot workflows.
  • Developer SDKs: High-level APIs, Blockly visual programming nodes, and ROS/ROS2 packages provided to customize robot behaviors.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All proprietary source code, software architecture, BonicOS system files, visual designs, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Autobonics Pvt Ltd.

Where Autobonics provides open-source assets, such as open-source 3D print file attachments (STL files for robot arm grippers/accessories) or public GitHub SDK repositories, these are licensed under their respective specified open-source licenses and remain subject to user modifications for customization and educational exploration.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the proprietary binary firmware of BonicOS.
  • Bypassing or attempting to disable any safety protocols, navigation constraints, or pit/obstacle detection sensors on BonicBot platforms.
  • Using the BonicBot platforms or BonicAI cloud to transmit, store, or process malicious code, or capture unauthorized surveillance footage in private zones.
  • Modifying robot joints or mechanical components beyond the modular specifications in a way that creates operational safety hazards.

5. Limitation of Liability & Safety

Autobonics robots are advanced autonomous systems equipped with multi-sensor arrays (including LiDAR, depth cameras, and sonar). While engineered with extensive redundant safety systems, physical robot operations carry inherent operational risks.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Autobonics Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

  • Improper deployment, lack of supervision, or operation of robots in non-approved environmental conditions (e.g., operating outside specified temperature or weather ratings).
  • Failure to maintain standard hardware checks or keep BonicOS firmware updated to the latest secure version.
  • Decisions or actions taken by personnel during safety training exercises delivered via the Training Studio module.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Kerala, India, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
